Wyclef Jean Signs On With J Records

Billboard.com reports Wyclef Jean has signed with J Records as a recording artist and is working on a new studio album. Jean, who was formerly signed to Columbia, had inked an imprint deal with J in 2000 for his Clef Records label. Wyclef said of his new boss Clive Davis: “Clive Davis, man! He’s the godfather of music. I hooked up with him so I could be a quadruple threat.”
