The New York Post reports tennis star Serena Williams was spotted at Tenjune last week at a party for her sister Venus holding hands and getting “very close” with rapper Common last week. An onlooker tells Page Six: “They were very friendly, arm-in-arm. She looked great. All night they were sitting together. They were keeping it cool, but you could tell Common likes himself some Serena. I asked a friend of his and was told they are dating.”
An investigation by The New York Daily News has learned Dr. Jan Adams, the doctor who performed cosmetic surgery on Kanye West’s mother Donda the day before her death, did not graduate from Harvard and never received his undergraduate degree from the Ivy League school even though he claimed otherwise on his web site. A records department source said Adams completed his academic requirements, but Harvard never handed over a diploma. “He would have received it in March 1977, but due to something he needs to resolve with the school, he didn’t get it,” the source said. Jermaine Dupri is apparently still upset with Justin Timberlake for not standing up for his girlfriend Janet Jackson during the infamous Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction” when the former *NSYNC star was onstage with her. “I think Justin Timberlake is a talented performer,” the pint-sized rapper/producer writes in his new book ‘Young, Rich and Dangerous’, according to the New York Post. “But he’s very ordinary-looking. He could be any skinny white kid from the suburbs of Orlando. You could go to the mall and find another Justin. He doesn’t make his style interesting even when he’s onstage. To me, he just doesn’t look like a star.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs allegedly punched a man twice in the face after they’d argued with each other at a SoHo afterparty early Saturday (October 13), police sources tell The New York Post. The Bad Boy boss and acquaintance Steven Acevedo were jawing over a woman when the rapper hit him in the face twice while screaming, “I’ll kill you, punk!” Sources say Acevedo was left with a bloody nose and a fat lip and went home, where he phoned a complaint into 911.

When MTV attempted to film Kanye West’s interview with Us Weekly at the magazine’s Hot Hollywood bash on Wednesday (September 26), the rapper swatted away the MTV cameras, telling the cameraman and producer, “I have nothing against you, just your bosses.” Though the producer told Kanye “I have nothing to do with that man,” he kept his hand over the lens during his entire interview. Sydney Holmes, a buddy of Remy Ma’s alleged shooting victim, tells the New York Daily News he was brutally pummeled in what prosecutors say was the rapper’s effort to silence witnesses. “I have nothing against Remy but I just want justice to be done,” said Holmes, 25. “How can they break my jaw and still be walking the streets?” Because of the beat down, the Bronx-born rapper now faces witness-tampering and gang assault charges as well as first-degree assault for the original shooting.
