Damon Dash is opening up about his former Roc-A-Fella records business partner Jay-Z in the upcoming King magazine. “My best friend did some sh** to me that I never thought in a million years he would do,” Dash complained. “It was straight war in there. Either you on Jay’s side or Dame’s side.” Dash added: “The perception is that Def Jam bought Roc-A-Fella. Jay’s the president of Def Jam. I’m Bin Laden. You could either be with Bin Laden or be with [Jay-Z]… You know what I’m saying?”

The New York Daily News hears that when Damon Dash vacated the midtown Rocawear offices after selling his $30 million stake to Jay-Z, he made off with literally everything that wasn’t nailed to the floor, down to the doorknobs. “As part of his deal, he got to keep his office furniture,” reports a spy. “Little did they know that he’d be taking everything from window blinds to the hinges on the doors. You name it, he took it.”

Damon Dash Facing Misdemeanor Assault Charges

The New York Daily News reports onetime buds Smokey Fontaine and Damon Dash came to blows last week, according to a police report Fontaine filed Thursday. Fontaine, who edits Dash’s magazine, America, claims his boss put him in the hospital after a disagreement about editorial issues.
