J-Kwon was on hand as Cory Spinks retained his undisputed welterweight title with a unanimous decision over challenger Zab Judah at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and at an after party later on Saturday (April 10) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He also weighed in on the developing beef between himself and former B2K star Omarion — who J-Kwon says stole his beat for his new solo single. Usher Performs On AOL Music Broadband Rocks

Bell Tolls For Arista Records

Sources confirmed to Billboard that most of the Arista Records 170 staffers will be let go as the label folds into BMG’s sister divisions. The downsized label would retain a small A&R and marketing staff but be placed under the RCA Music Group banner. It’s widely thought that the LaFace-affiliated acts, including OutKast, Usher, Pink, and Cee-Lo will be transferred to Jive. while Sarah McLachlan, Dido and Avril Lavigne would shift to RCA, and Whitney Houston, Kenny G and rap newcomer J-Kwon would go to J Records.

This week, Hip-Hop dominates the Billboard Hot 100 list, at Billboard.com, Usher’s ‘Yeah’ with Ludacris and Lil’ Jon remains at the top spot for the 2 week, while Chingy’s ‘One Call Away’ was this weeks Greatest Gainer in Airplay, moving up from #4 to #2, Twista’s song ‘Slow Jamz’ with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx is at #3, Outkast’s ‘The Way You Move’ with Sleepy Brown is at #4, J-Kwon’s ‘Tipsy’ is this weeks Greatest Gainer in Sales at #5, Ludacris’s ‘Splash Waterfalls’ is at #9, and Outkast’s ‘Hey Ya’ rounding out the top ten at #10.
