Happy New Year From Jedi Mind Tricks

Jedi Mind Tricks checked in with fans on their blog at MySpace (@jedimindtricks) on Wednesday (December 31). The Philadelphia hip hop group tell readers:

We just wanted to take this time to thank all of you again for supporting us throughout the year. 2008 marked our 12th year as Jedi Mind Tricks. Hard to believe, really. Twelve years ago, we started as a group of kids pretending to run a record label out of a friend’s basement. We had a lot of passion, but no idea about how to run a record label… and definitely no idea that all of that hard work would take us to the places we’ve been on this crazy journey that has been our career.

Some of you have been here from the beginning and some of you have joined us along the way. For your relentless support of our music, we’d like to thank all of you for being a part of this ride with us and hope you’ll continue on with us into 2009. We have a bunch of things on deck to get the new year started right.
