Kevin Federline was videotaped leaving a Malibu liquor store where he bought cigarettes. As he left, he scoffed at the photographers who wanted to know if his marriage to Britney Spears was coming to an end while being congratulated on the news his wife is pregnant again. TMZ has since removed the video.

Kevin & Bean of KROQ FM in Los Angeles had their regular Britney Spears and Kevin Federline impersonators on the phone to discuss K-Fed’s ‘Playing With Fire’ CD listening party at Pure in Las Vegas. Federline also discussed his remarks about Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey not working hard enough to save their marriage, being the “bread winner”, and his street cred, while Britney talked about why she missed the party. ‘Extra’ caught up with Kevin Federline at his ‘Playing with Fire’ listening party at Las Vegas hot spot Pure. Kevin revealed his album will, “Take you through a couple stories of my life earlier on before me and Britney got together.” As for the buzz, positive and mostly negative, surrounding his new album, Kevin said, “It’s my turn to talk back. The bad news, he walked to the liquor store and bought cigarettes.”

Kevin Federline tells Spin magazine the media is to blame for his foray into music. “I don’t have a choice. It’s not like I can go and do construction, start building houses in Malibu,” explains Mr. Britney Spears. “They are forcing me to do this, and I am glad they are. I am more than happy to do it.”

Jay Leno joked during his Tonight Show monologue on Tuesday night, “Britney Spears’ husband, Kevin Federline or ‘K-Fed’ as he calls himself — now in trouble for sampling the ’80s song ‘She Blinded Me With Science’ by Thomas Dolby without permission. Dolby is very upset about this. Luckily, since it’s on Kevin’s CD, no one would hear it.”

Thomas Dolby Considers Legal Action Against K-Fed

Thomas Dolby is considering taking legal action against Kevin Federline for violating copyright law by using his 1983 smash, ‘She Blinded Me With Science’, in the song. “You can’t just take a very well-known piece of music and add your own vitriolic rap over the top of it and get away with it,” Dolby told MTV News on Wednesday (April 5). “If anybody’s going to sing nasty lyrics over my music, it’s going to be me.” Read more.
