Listen to ‘Beat It Up Like a Drummer’ featuring E-Smith, ‘King Of The Town’ featuring E-Smith & Bad Seed, and ‘Donkie Booty’ featuring Trey Songs below.
Mims is out with the video to his new single ‘Move (If U Wanna)’, the lead release off the New York City rapper’s second studio album ‘Guilt’, out soon on his Capitol Records imprint American King Music. Watch it below.
Showbiz Shelly of B96 in Chicago interviewed Mims, where the rapper talked about how he had to grow up early with his mother dying when he was 13, about the time he started getting into music. Mims also admitted to being a bit fearful about the release of his new album ‘Guilt’ because of the economy and changes in the industry. He said he has no problem always having to play ‘This Is Why I’m Hot’. As for the jewelry, he said he’s not really into it and that the story behind ‘Guilt’ is trying to stay with the people and relate with them rather than talk about all the money you have. The highlight of the career has been international travelling, and seeing crowds who don’t speak English still know every word on his album. Watch the interview below.

Mims tells The Sun he’d like The Queen to star in one of his music videos. “The Queen is an icon,” the 26-year-old New York rapper said. “If I could choose anyone to be in one of my videos it would be her. It would be so different and so cool. I do get a lot more attention from women since the single topped the charts. But I wouldn’t want your average pretty girl like Cameron Diaz or Carmen Electra. That’s too predictable. I think The Queen would like it.”
