Nas is out with the music video to his new single ‘Daughters’, the lead single off the Queens rapper’s tenth studio album ‘Life Is Good’, out July 17th on Def Jam Recordings.

“I think that this song for Nas is so personal, everything in the song is real, that he wanted to share this moment with his fans, with the world, and it was actually his suggestion,” director Chris Robinson told MTV News regarding the guest appearance from Nas’ 17-year-old daughter Destiny Jones in the video. “I was ready to cast someone, and he was real calm and said, ‘Hey, Dest is gonna be here, I think we need to keep it real.'”

K'naan 'Nothing To Lose' ft. Nas

K’naan is out with the music video to his new single ‘Nothing To Lose’, featuring Nas, off the Canadian rapper’s EP ‘More Beautiful Than Silence’, out now on A&M/Octone.

“I come from the United States, and he’s from Somalia, so when he tells his story, it’s something new to my ears,” Nas said about the collaboration with K’naan. “It’s raw. It’s not coming from news channels; it’s coming from someone who’s actually from there. And coming from where I come from, there’s similarities when you tell those stories. There’s also big differences between our worlds that a lot of kids don’t know about. So you put us on a record together, you bridge those gaps… you see what it is.”
