Soulja Boy attended the Nickelodeon 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at the UCLA Pauley Pavilion on Saturday (March 28) in Westwood, California.
The rapper spoke to the Associated Press about neither Rihanna or Chris Brown attending the awards in wake of Brown’s alleged attack of Rihanna on February 8th. “For them not to be here is very sad. I was looking forward to seeing them here,” Soulja Boy said. “Right now, it’s a sad situation. And it’s very touchy. I’m just …. it just shocked me when it happened.”

Soulja Boy spoke with MTV News about plans to shoot a video for the ‘Turn My Swag On’ remix, where the rapper will be joined by Keri Hilson and Lil Wayne. “The ‘Turn My Swag On’ official remix is gonna take me to that next level in my career,” Soulja Boy said recently. “This song is so worldwide, but I guess it’s in disguise, because it came out as a street single. It’s gonna be turned into something so much bigger. Believe it or not, everybody in the world wakes up and turns their swag on, whether they know it or not. Once ‘Swag’ catches on, like ‘Kiss Me Through the Phone,’ it’s over.” Watch his comments below.
Someone on Twitter identified as actress Meagan Good shot down Soulja Boy after the rapper contacted her, claiming the ‘Crank That’ hitmaker was gay. Soulja Boy then messaged her that the account was fake, prompting the @ response below. Good Tweets:

Update: The “realmeagangood” account at twitter has since been removed, so it looks like Soulja Boy was correct.
Soulja Boy spoke with Snoop Dogg about how the internet helped his music career take off after Snoop called him the king of the internet. “For all these rappers who are older than me and more successful than I was, to be following what I did, is amazing to me,” Soulja Boy said. The clip, aired on Snoop’s ‘Dogg After Dark’, has since been removed at MTV.com.
Soulja Boy checked in with fans on his YouTube channel with a late night update from the studio, joined by his first S.O.D. Money Gang artist JBar.
